Principal Investigator - East County

Dr. Robert Lipetz is a board certified Family Physician with over 24 years of experience caring for patients in the San Diego area. He presently devotes full time to clinical research and has conducted over 200 trials in the past 10 years. These studies include, Attention Deficit Disorder, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), chronic pain, depression, diabetes, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erectile dysfunction, hepatitis, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine headache, osteoarthritis, PMS, pneumonia, skin infection, and viral infection.

Principal Sub-Investigator - East County

Dr. Darren Farnesi is a board certified Family Physician with over 4 years of experience caring for patients in the San Diego area. He has been involved in clinical research for the past 2 years as a Principal Sub-Investigator. He currently works in research 2 to 3 days per week and is in private Family Practice the rest of the time. His research experience includes studies in the areas of Attention Deficit Disorder, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), diabetes, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erectile dysfunction, hypertension (elevated blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (elevated cholesterol), irritable bowel syndrome, migraine headache, osteoarthritis, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
